Alright dudes... sorry for the delay.... I've been deathly sick the last week....
So... the library is giving me a bullshit answer on availability... they don't want to commit... or someone simply isn't doing their job... either way... I am sick of pestering them... (seriously not impressed for a supposed community minded organization...)
Can we use Myths and Mirrors for this?
I will take the items posted so far... and start drafting the agenda... and some basic terms of reference in the next week or so... and repost... for people's input...

good points guys! I posted my update without backtracking...
We will need someone to take some notes... once we elect a chair and vice... i'd be happy to assume the secretary role... and keep shit organized if the masses so choose that I do so...

Why don't we try for a Friday night right before or after dinner hour this way people should be relatively free... before their weekend/work schedules may begin...
I am pretty much open for most days... Monday, Thurs or Friday would be best...
Tuesdays are out... as I am up at CKLU and Wednesdays are busy... but a last resort...

Let's make it official then: Friday, January 21st at 6PM at Myths and Mirrors. What do you guys think about calling this the "Greater Sudbury Music Scene Summit"? Adds a certain gravitas to it I think.
Steve, if you're okay with being secretary then I think you've got the job. Do you think you can facilitate this and act as secretary at the same time?
Tyler, do you think you could sticky this thread until the meeting happens while we hash out exactly what the meeting structure is going to be?

I think i can wing both duties... for the first meeting... we'll take care of elections first off... and addressing the agenda... i am sure someone will be able to help me out with notes for this meeting if required... i will probably bring my Macbook... type up some stuff... depending how lively the discussion gets... will need to do so anyways for recording purposes... Love the title of summit heh heh... makes it almost seem united nations esque i think its killer... (i think we could also do this up as a bit of test for the existing network... in terms of spreading the word in the schools and such... through existing contacts to see how the existing network works... be it plus or minus... and to see who is going to come out of the woodwork)
